Benefit Changes – Recent and forthcoming
Course availability
In-House courses by arrangement
Public course dates will be available in March 2023
Introduction
The past decade of welfare reforms has seen dramatic changes to benefits support in the UK. More recently, Covid and other financial pressures are causing serious social and cost of living crises.
At the same time staff and advisers have been under enormous pressures for many reasons. Staff shortages and illnesses have been high while demand has grown and many new tasks and schemes have had to be delivered.
Keeping up with changes to the benefits system, particularly when direct involvement is limited, has sometimes had to be less of a priority than people would like.
Ferret are now offering a course to bring you and your staff up to speed on the changes which have occurred and which are being introduced in the future.

This course looks at the benefits system from the perspective of experienced workers. Some of the topics covered in the course include:

- What’s happening to Council Tax Reduction schemes
